    Why Go Low

Height you do not use costs you every day

A full-height canopy is great if you need standing-room storage. Plenty of people do not, and they carry the wind resistance, the car park height limits and the blind spot for nothing.

A low profile canopy sits at or just above cab height. You keep rear vision through the mirror, the ute fits under more roller doors, and it looks considerably better while it is at it.

The trade-off is internal height, so it suits organised gear, drawers and flat storage more than bulky items. If you carry ladders or tall bins, we will tell you to go taller.

    FAQ

    Low profile canopy questions

What counts as a low profile canopy?

One that sits at or near the height of your cab roof rather than well above it. We set the exact height off your vehicle so the line looks right.

    Do I lose much storage?

You lose height, not floor area. With a drawer and shelving fitout most people lose very little usable capacity, because the top third of a tall canopy is usually dead air.

Can it still take a rooftop tent?

Yes, and a low profile canopy is a good tent base because it keeps your total height sensible. Tell us at quote stage so the roof is braced for it.

Is it cheaper than a full height canopy?

Slightly, but not dramatically. Most of the cost is in fabrication, sealing and hardware, not in the extra 200mm of wall. Canopies start from $9,999.

    Want the low look?
